Akimbekova Galiya Uisimbekovna was born on October 8,1963 inTaraz,RepublicofKazakhstan. She is working for over 30 years. All her work activities are connected with KazRIAICERD and science, starting with a full-time graduate student to the Chairman of the Board of her Institute. She has about 200 scientific papers. She defended her Candidate and Doctoral dissertations, and was awarded the title of professor, academician of the AAS RK.
Long-term research works in the field of agricultural cooperation development, work experience with agricultural producers contributed to the development of the draft Law of the RK "On agricultural cooperatives", adopted by the Mazhilis of Parliament on October 29, 2015.
The results of her scientific activities - more than 20 methodological recommendations, practical manuals on mechanism of formation and functioning of agricultural cooperatives, territorial and sectoral clusters, wholesale distribution and trade- logistics centers that facilitate the unification of small forms of business, organization of their own objects of cooperation (milk collection points, slaughterhouses workshops, vegetable stores, etc.), increasing income and employment of the rural population.
Agricultural producers united in cooperatives, especially in the southern regions of the republic, employees of the MA RK, NCE "Atameken", industry unions, other departments and organizations, deputies of the Parliament of the RK dealing with agricultural cooperation, know Akimbekova G.U. as the main ideologist of unification of small farms, lecturer and consultant on the mechanism of creating cooperatives, the developer of the new Law.
Close connection of Akimbekova G.U. with international organizations: OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development of the OECD, FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization), GenossenschaftsVerband, HochschuleHeubrandenburg, etc.) allowed Akimbekova G.U. to undergo international internships in Italy, Israel, Germany aimed to study the experience of developing agricultural cooperation, participate in international seminars, conferences, publish scientific articles with impact factor. As a result of cooperation with agricultural scientific organizations ofRussia(VNIISKh, VIAPI, VNIOPTUSKH RAAS,K.A.TimiryazevRussianStateAgrarianUniversityof the MA, SIBNIISKh, etc.) she became co-executor of scientific works on the topics under study in accordance with concluded cooperation agreements.
Professor Akimbekova G.U. - the founder of scientific school of agricultural cooperation, she supervised Candidates of sciences, PhD, Master students, she is a member of the Dissertation Council at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University, member of the National Scientific Council on the AIC Economy, she and her students have organized about 100 agricultural cooperatives in various branches of the AIC and regions of Kazakhstan over the past 2 years.
Akimbekova G.U. is the Laureate of the State Prize of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Science - Academy of Sciences of the RK for the best scientific work, awarded with certificates of honor of the MA RK, NASEC RK, the badge "Excellence in Agriculture" for her contribution to the development of agricultural science.
