Current relevant issues of agri-industrial complex development have been reflected. It is noted that with the accession of Kazakhstan to the WTO, the importance of increased competi-tiveness of agricultural production has increased. The special role of State support for develop-ment of processing and storage of AIC products in the republic is emphasized on the basis of im-plementing sector programs. It is needed to develop processing of agricultural products aimed to obtain high-quality raw materials and produce high-quality food, increase the yield capacity of fruits and vegetables and oilseeds, for which there are favorable conditions in the country. The economic efficiency of growing these crops is shown, as well as expediency of rational use of raw materials in complex processing. The paper revealed the problems and provides offers that allow modernization and development of the system of storage and processing of agricultural products in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
